ECLIPSE WELLNESS PRIVACY POLICY

Eclipse Wellness (Stephanie Pacheco-Nunes, ABN 43 675 137 416, Marleston SA) protects your personal and health information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect and why

I collect your contact details, health history, consult notes, test results (e.g. blood tests and Microba gut microbiome tests), your GP's details if you provide them, and payment records. I use them to assess your health, plan and review your treatment, refer you when needed, manage bookings and payments, and meet legal and professional obligations. I collect this mostly from you, and from labs or other practitioners with your consent.

Who I share it with

I never sell your information. I share it only with testing laboratories, your GP or other practitioners (with your consent), supplement dispensaries for orders, and the software providers I use to run the practice: SimpleClinic, Square, Squarespace and MailerLite. I disclose it otherwise only where the law requires.

Software and AI tools

I use software, including AI tools, to help interpret test results and prepare reports. I remove your name and anything identifying before results go into an AI tool. The tools only suggest options; I review everything and make all decisions about your care. You can opt out at any time without it affecting your care.

Security and storage

Records are kept in secure, password-protected systems that only I can access, and are kept for at least 7 years after your last consult. Some providers (e.g. Squarespace, MailerLite) store data overseas. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, I'll notify you and the OAIC.
